Antonia Antonia AntoniaCOLUMBIA, S.C. Columbia Police Department officers had searched for Sims since Christmas week, but were unable to locate him. The officers were able to arrest Taylor Wardlaw and charged him with accessory after the fact of murder in relation to Sims's death. According to officials, Eddie Brown (aged 30) was accused as a contributing factor to the death of Sims. Sims was 26 years old when he was last seen at a home in the area of Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. According to policereports, his partner Wardlaw declared Sims missing on Dec. 22. The body was discovered near a stream off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford, verified that the body belonged to Sims. Skip Holbrook, chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been accused of murder as well being a firearm owner in the perpetration of a violent act. According to policereports, Sims was fatally shot several times. This is Columbia Police Department's first Tweet asking for community help.
