Aura Garrido Sanchez an Spanish TV and film actress. She has acted in Stockholm and also in the TV shows El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido, born in Madrid 1989, is a painter and composer. Tomas Garrido has been a composer for the past 30 years, and also a conductor for orchestras. Pilar sanchez, Garrido's mother, is both a painting and a musician. Her first piano lessons when she was four years old, and within a short time, began practicing ballet. She is fluent in English because she had an American-born best friend in her childhood. After finishing her high school studies, she went to the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. There she studied interpretation for three years, with a focus on translation of text. She left the school in 2010, when she was offered the role of Planes para manana. Her performance earned her recognition with the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress as well as a Goya Awards nomination in the top breakthrough actress category, among other nominations.
